Recoverice ice wraps

RecoverIce Bandages: Reviews

Rod Prodgers
Spends many hours a week running the trails on theTable Mountain range in South Africa. He was so impressed with the RecoverIce product; he felt the need to share this anecdote:

“I bought a RecoverIce bandage about 5 or 6 years ago and have carried it in my first aid kit since then, without ever having to use it; but last night, coming off the mountain through Newlands Forest, I twisted my ankle quite badly and had to hobble the last 20 minutes or so in agony.
As soon as I got back to my car I opened the wrapper, expecting that after all this time the liquid would have dried up but at least I could strap my ankle with the bandage; but no — it had retained all the liquid and I had to squeeze out the excess (as instructed on the wrapper).
I strapped up and felt the cooling, soothing effect almost immediately; I kept the bandage on all night, and by this morning it had soothed the ankle so much that I have been able to walk normally without pain; I'll rest up for another day or so before running again, but I was very pleased with the rapid action of the product and the relief it gave. I'll certainly be restocking my first aid kit with RecoverIce and recommending it to my fellow trail runners.”

Gwyneth Owen
A retired nurse from Anglesey, North Wales, was disembarking a cruise ship to go on a 7-hour day tour of Cairo, when she fell on the quayside:
“I slipped on a wet, marble step and put my left hand out to stop myself falling. I went down really heavy. When I got on the coach I felt terrible. My hand swelled up and went purple. I have Parkinson’s in my right hand and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to carry all my bags.Gweneth

Luckily a fellow passenger had a RecoverIce bandage. As soon as it was wrapped around my hand I felt relief straight away. It stayed cool all afternoon, surprising as it was so hot in Cairo.

I don’t think I would have enjoyed my day at all without that bandage!
When I got back on board I went to see the ship’s doctor. He charged me £17 for a normal, crepe bandage, as well as £40 for the consultation, but I took it off when I got back to my cabin and put the RecoverIce bandage back on as it was firmer and felt better, more supportive, even though it wasn’t cool anymore.”

Lisa“I used to be really susceptible to calf tears and pulls here and there especially during cross country season. I was using muscle rub and pain relief creams for minor pulls and if I suffered a tear I would sometimes opt for ultrasound.

When I came across the RecoverIce bandages I was excited about the prospect of trying something new. To my delight they actually worked. Not only did they soothe my general muscle soreness but they also got rid of calf strain overnight instead of days or sometimes weeks on pain relief creams and ultrasound. I now carry them in my gym bag and if ever I get any muscle pain I don't hesitate to use recover ice so I can train back at optimal levels the next day.”
